About the Role

AMANA LIGHT is seeking a creative and technically skilled Architectural Lighting Designer & Product Development Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing innovative architectural lighting solutions, developing new lighting products, preparing technical documentation, and supporting projects from concept through manufacturing and installation.

Key Responsibilities

- Design architectural lighting solutions for façade, landscape, indoor, and outdoor projects.

- Develop new lighting products and improve existing product lines.

- Prepare lighting layouts, shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and technical details.

- Perform lighting calculations using Dialux evo.

- Prepare technical submittals, compliance sheets, and material specifications.

- Create 3D models and high-quality visualizations.

- Review architectural, electrical, and lighting specifications.

- Coordinate with production to ensure manufacturability and product quality.

- Support the sales team with technical presentations and product selection.

- Participate in client meetings, consultant coordination, and site visits.

- Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code, project specifications, and company quality standards.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related discipline.

- Minimum 2 years of experience in architectural lighting design or lighting product development.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Dialux evo.

- Experience with Lumion, Enscape, or 3ds Max is preferred.

- Strong understanding of lighting design principles, lighting calculations, and product specifications.

- Knowledge of lighting standards, IP/IK ratings, CRI, CCT, UGR, and photometric files (IES/LDT).

- Excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork skills.
